Baic a déposé une offre de rachat d'Opel

Le constructeur automobile chinois Beijing Automotive Industry Corp (Baic) a déposé une offre de reprise pour Opel, la filiale de General Motors, a déclaré mardi un porte-parole du ministère allemand de l'économie.

"Baic a manifesté son intérêt ce soir", a-t-il dit.

Le chinois propose d'y investir 660 millions d'euros, avait déclaré plus tôt à Reuters une source financière.

Cette offre vient s'ajouter à celles déjà déposées par Fiat, l'équipementier austro-canadian Magna et le fonds d'investissement RHJ International.
